Ubisoft Announces New Browser-Based Might and Magic Game
Ubisoft has announced Heroes of Mightiness and Magical Kingdoms, a new web-based addition to the Heroes of Might and Magic dealership.
The new release is a unrelenting-universe strategy game set in the Heroes of Might and Magic universe, putt thousands of players on the thrones of virtual kingdoms from which they john master trades, make heroes and lead massive armies against unitary another. The game will run entirely through common browsers, with no downloads or international installations required, and send away equal played in stretches as long or Eastern Samoa short as the player desires.
"This is a new type of game for Ubisoft, one that allows you to jumpstart into a plushy and complex universe just with your web browser," said Ubisoft Chief Fictive Officer Serge Hascoët. "Heroes of Power and Magical Kingdoms will open a wide door to the Might and Magic universe, allowing players to immerse themselves inside it unlike ever earlier."
First launched in 1986 with Might and Sorcerous: The Secret of the Exclusive Sanctum for DOS, Apple Two, Commodore 64 and others, the Might and Magic franchise continuing through nine releases and spun off several else serial publication, including Heroes of Might and Magic, Crusaders of Might and Magic and others. Ubisoft acquired the rights to the franchise in 2003, which led to a "reboot" of the series and an end to the existing Might and Wizardly continuity.
An exclusive beta key for the game is invisible in Heroes of Might and Conjuring trick Complete Edition, and interested gamers can also register at www.hommkingdoms.com. Heroes of Might and Charming Kingdoms is presently scheduled to launch in spring 2008.
